Responsibilities: 

  • Reading and understanding blueprints and technical diagrams to determine wiring configurations.
  • Installing electrical components and systems such as lighting, outlets, circuit breakers, and junction boxes.
  • Testing electrical systems and components to ensure they are functioning properly and complying with safety regulations.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues in homes, commercial buildings, or industrial facilities.
  • Performing routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure their longevity.
  • Following all safety protocols and regulations to protect yourself and others from electrical hazards.
  • Collaborating with other tradespeople and contractors on construction or renovation projects that require electrical work.
