Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Dust furniture
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets
• Stock linen closet
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings
• Clean changing rooms and showers
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Emptying and cleaning waste bins and removing garbage.
• Replenishing supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
• Replacing light bulbs and ensuring that basic maintenance tasks are carried out.
• Following proper cleaning procedures, including using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role may be preferred but not always required.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects.
