Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
- Dust furniture
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
- Make beds and change sheets
- Stock linen closet
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Wash windows, walls and ceilings
- Clean changing rooms and showers
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Emptying and cleaning waste bins and removing garbage.
- Replenishing supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
- Replacing light bulbs and ensuring that basic maintenance tasks are carried out.
- Following proper cleaning procedures, including using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role may be preferred but not always required.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects.
- Paying close attention to detail and thoroughness in performing cleaning tasks.
